EmEx Hungary Kft. is the distributor of the german Cooper-Crouse Hinds (CEAG) GmbH in Hungary producer of explosion protected electrical material and COOPER Menvier GmbH producer of safety lighting systems. CEAG is part of the US based COOPER group.which is the biggest producer of explosion protected equipment in the world. CEAG has more than 100 years of experience in producing such equipment.

 

EmEx was founded in 1997 for distributing and servicing CEAG products in Hungary. Since then its potfolio have been enwidened with other activities. Current  number of employees:  8 people. On the market of explosion protected material we are in the first 3 market leaders, on the field of central battery safety lighting we are the first.

 

EmEx has the following activities:

 

1. Safety lighting

Central battery systems. Freely programmable emergency lighting control systems with automated monitoring. Selectable only to circuit level or individual lamps.

Self contained exit lamps with built in batteries also with central monitoring, a lot of type manufactured also for special needs

References: complete AUDI factory in Győr, 75 TESCO, 11 AUCHAN, 3 METRO, Budapest Airport, Tirana Airport, BAT factory in Serbia, new National Theatre, new Budapest Sportarena and many office buildings, cinemas, factories. More than 500 systems.

 

2.          Explosion protected electrical material for gas and dust areas

Handlamps, headlamps, fluorescent, sodium, metal halide lamps for indoor and outdoor purposes

Switches, connector, plugs and sockets, motor junction boxes, terminal boxes

Flameproof enclosures, lamps and exit lamps

Mobile EX lamps, also for Zone 0!
